Well jet lag persists and the weather helps by 4:00AM we are awakened by thunderstorms and hail. All is well since by 8:15 the sky is clear and the sun is out. A day exploring some of the towns that dot Lake Como and perchance see George. No luck on the George sighting but we were able to see Bellagio and Como with good look at Castle Baldibenno. With so much rain overnight the portion by the Como boat dock was flooded, over knee deep, a little challenge to get to the center of town.
We spent some time in Bellagio and Como just wandering. Como is more citified and Bellagio seem to cater to the shopping trendy group of which we are not. Back inVarenna as the rain returns. The ferry is packed by those trying to stay dry. Seems there are many more seaside towns that we need to explore. A day spent exploring and hardly got lost and didn't even get on the wrong ferry. Not time to blog since we went to the "hot spot of town and after two glasses of wine I can't blog!" Will try and catch up later. Will also add photos.
